Ciwidey is a small village up in the mountains, full of green carpets of tea plantation and strawberry fields.The air is cool and clean, and it was great to get our coats out of the lugagge!
After 3 hours drive (with one "stretch stop" in the way for some snacks), our first sightseeing stop was at Kawah Putih, a crater lake located in a volcanic crater. Despite the strong smell of sulfur, the place is an amazing gift for the eyes. Beautiful!

Oops! A small unexpected event during the trip helped us have some fun!
Then, we headed to the Kampung Strawberry resort, where we did our check in for the weekend and did some strawberry picking.
After lunch we were presented to our bungalows, which made us feel like
we were in a country house, surrounded by a lake and with nature all
around. We had time for coffee and a good talk before getting back to the road for some more sightseeing!
After relaxing hot springs, the day ended with a wonderful dinner at Bebek Unti restaurant!
